A Sambhal court ordered an FIR against 12 police officers, including a former CO and SHO, for an alleged shooting during the November 2024 Shahi Jama Masjid survey violence. Police, however, refused to comply, calling the order “illegal” and vowing to challenge it in a higher court, citing a prior judicial inquiry that validated police action.
