Madras High Court has directed the CBFC to grant a ‘UA 16+’ censor certificate for the theatrical release of actor Vijay’s Tamil movie ‘Jana Nayagan’. The court set aside the chairperson’s decision to refer the film to a revising committee, emphasizing that the producer invested Rs 500 crore and had already made 27 modifications as per board recommendations.
