A carpenter in Ludhiana, living under an assumed identity for 14 years, was apprehended by Delhi Police. He was a fugitive, having escaped parole in 2000 after being sentenced for his wife’s murder in 1992. The police tracked him down through a tip-off, ending his decade-long evasion.
