US President Donald Trump asserted that NATO allies significantly boosted defense spending only after his direct intervention, claiming they now contribute more and that Russia and China wouldn’t fear the alliance without U.S. backing. He also stated his actions prevented Russia from taking all of Ukraine and ended numerous conflicts, saving millions of lives.
