Following the US operation in Venezuela, Secretary of State Marco Rubio indicated the Cuban government is a “huge problem” and “in a lot of trouble.” President Trump also stated Cuba is a “failing nation” and that the US wants to help its people. This comes amid criticism from allies and strong condemnation from Cuba’s president regarding the Venezuela action.
