China has strongly condemned the US for allegedly capturing Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife, demanding their immediate release. Beijing termed the action a “large-scale strike” violating international law and Venezuela’s sovereignty. China urged the US to cease its attempts to topple the government and instead pursue dialogue, highlighting the significant setback this poses to their strategic partnership.
