The United States expressed concern over China’s recent military exercises near Taiwan, stating they unnecessarily increase tensions. Urging Beijing to exercise restraint and engage in dialogue, the US reiterated its support for peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait, opposing unilateral changes to the status quo by force. Several other nations also voiced serious concerns regarding the drills.
