Chief Justice Surya Kant has introduced a new system to prioritize cases for the disadvantaged. Petitions from disabled individuals, acid attack survivors, senior citizens over 80, those below the poverty line, and legal aid recipients will now be fast-tracked. This initiative aims to ensure their cases don’t get overlooked amidst the Supreme Court’s massive caseload.
