Contaminated Indore tap water leaves seven dead, 162 hospitalised

Contaminated tap water in Indore, India’s cleanest city, has led to multiple deaths and dozens hospitalized due to diarrhoea and vomiting. A leakage mixing sewage with drinking water in Bhagirathpura is the suspected cause. Officials are investigating, with financial aid and free medical treatment announced for affected families.
