PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi said Pakistan will not force handshakes with India if the Indian team is unwilling, ahead of the T20 World Cup 2026. He stressed keeping politics out of cricket and demanded equal treatment. The issue has continued since the Pahalgam attack, causing repeated handshake refusals, controversies, ICC interventions and sanctions during recent India-Pakistan tournaments.
