Rail traffic on the crucial Howrah–Patna–Delhi route faced significant disruption late Saturday night after eight wagons of a goods train derailed in Bihar’s Jamui district. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The incident, occurring between Lahabon and Simultala stations, affected approximately two dozen trains overnight. Restoration efforts are currently underway.
