Love or other motive?: Bangladeshi youth crosses border to ‘meet girlfriend’; arrested

A 25-year-old Bangladeshi national, Rayhan Kabir, was arrested in Basirhat, India, after illegally crossing the border to meet a woman he met on social media. He was apprehended by locals due to suspicious behavior and subsequently detained by police for failing to produce valid documents. Kabir has been remanded in judicial custody for 14 days as investigations continue.
