A 26-year-old newlywed woman, Ganavi, died after allegedly attempting suicide, with her family accusing her husband and his relatives of dowry harassment. The family staged a protest at the husband’s home after her death, demanding the arrest of his family members. Police have registered a dowry death case and are searching for the absconding accused.
