CBSE will introduce wide-ranging reforms from the 2025–26 session, reshaping exams, curriculum, and student support. Class 10 board exams will become biannual from 2026, allowing score improvement. APAAR ID linkage is now mandatory for Classes 9–12. Exam fees have increased, while syllabi align with NCF 2023. New career guidance, mental health counselling models, and an AI-powered digital experience centre aim to reduce stress and modernise learning for students, parents, and schools nationwide and abroad too.
