Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) officially opens its doors for commercial operations today, offering a second air travel gateway for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Initially, four airlines will operate around 30 domestic flights daily between 8 am and 8 pm, with plans to expand to 24-hour operations by February 2026.
