A former guest lecturer, Revathi, has been arrested in Bengaluru for allegedly stealing gold ornaments and cash from wedding functions by posing as a relative. Police recovered 262 grams of gold worth Rs 32 lakh after her arrest. She confessed to multiple thefts, citing financial pressures as her motive.
