A Hindu garment factory worker in Bangladesh was brutally lynched by a mob of around 140 people, allegedly for a blasphemous social media post. Investigators have found no evidence to support the accusation, yet the victim’s family lives in fear. Twelve arrests have been made as authorities investigate the deliberate circulation of misinformation.
