Pakistan’s chief of defence forces, Asim Munir, claimed “divine help” during a military confrontation with India in May. He also urged Afghanistan’s Taliban regime to choose between Pakistan and the Tehrik i Taliban Pakistan, stating that Afghans constitute the majority of militants infiltrating Pakistan.
