Shubman Gill was dropped from India’s T20 World Cup 2026 squad due to poor form and injury concerns. Sunil Gavaskar advised Gill to take the decision positively and assured his future remains bright. Gavaskar called the move a “course correction,” adding that chief selector Ajit Agarkar would explain the decision personally.
