India opener Yashasvi Jaiswal is recovering from acute gastroenteritis after being hospitalised during Mumbai’s Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy match in Pune. The left-hander suffered rapid weight loss of 2.5 kg and has been advised complete bed rest for 7–10 days. His availability for Mumbai’s early Vijay Hazare Trophy matches remains uncertain, with the BCCI medical team monitoring his recovery.
