India’s ‘Homebound’ has advanced to the Academy Awards’ Best International Feature Film shortlist, joining 14 other films from around the globe. Directed by Neeraj Ghaywan, the film explores friendship and the existential reasons behind migration from rural India, inspired by a true story during the pandemic.
