Interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS, discovered in July, will approach Earth on December 19th. This rare visitor from another star system, unlike typical comets, offers scientists a unique chance to analyze its composition. Studying the dust and gas released as it nears the Sun could reveal secrets about other planetary systems’ evolution. It will be observable via telescopes.
