A wedding in Bareilly was called off after the bride alleged dowry demands of Rs 20 lakh and a car. The groom, however, claims the bride refused to marry him due to his weight and that her family staged the dowry accusation to recover expenses. Both parties have filed complaints, and police are investigating.
