Event organizer Satadru Dutta was arrested on Saturday after being deplaned from a chartered flight carrying Lionel Messi and his Inter Miami teammates. Dutta, who had advertised the event, attempted to negotiate with police on the tarmac, offering to refund fans for the cancelled football match. Despite his pleas to continue with the tour, authorities prevented him from leaving Kolkata.
