Delhi’s new education act aims to curb arbitrary private school fee hikes. The law mandates itemized fee heads, caps on certain charges, and prohibits disguised capitation fees. User-based services must be no-profit, no-loss. A School-Level Fee Regulation Committee, including parents, will now approve fee structures, ensuring transparency and predictability for three years.
