Bihar Police are now shooting criminals in the leg during encounters to prevent escapes, a tactic unofficially dubbed ‘Operation Langda’. This strategy has led to the arrest of several wanted criminals, including Rakesh Kumar, who was shot in the leg and apprehended in Patna after allegedly firing at police.
