Disney has inked a multi-billion dollar deal with OpenAI, allowing Sora AI users to create videos featuring Disney, Marvel, Pixar, and Star Wars characters. This announcement followed a ‘Cease-and-Desist’ letter sent to Google, accusing its AI models of massive copyright infringement on Disney’s intellectual property, including characters from popular franchises.
