The Finance Ministry has introduced major reforms to streamline recruitment examinations and result declarations for SBI, NBs and RRBs through IBPS. Officer-level results will now be announced first, followed by clerical-level results, with a standardised sequence across banks. The changes aim to enhance transparency, reduce attrition, and allow candidates to make informed choices. The move addresses operational challenges arising from workforce migration and ensures more predictable, stable recruitment in public sector banks, as quoted by the PTI.
