The EU’s competition watchdog is probing Chinese security firm Nuctech over alleged unfair advantages from Beijing’s subsidies. Concerns are that grants and preferential financing allowed Nuctech to undercut rivals in supplying airport security scanners. The investigation aims to ensure a level playing field for all companies operating within the EU market.
