An MLA caused a stir in the Maharashtra assembly by wearing a leopard costume. This was to protest the growing human-leopard conflict. Seven people were injured in a leopard attack in Nagpur the same day. The MLA argued for immediate capture of leopards in dangerous situations. He criticized the forest department’s ineffective projects.
