Google has officially refuted claims of introducing advertisements into its Gemini app by 2026. Dan Taylor, VP of Global Ads, clarified on X that these reports are inaccurate and there are no current plans to monetize the Gemini app with ads. While AI Overviews in the US already feature ads, this expansion won’t affect the Gemini app.
