Microsoft is investing $17.5 billion in India, its largest investment in Asia, to bolster the nation’s digital infrastructure and AI capabilities. CEO Satya Nadella announced the commitment following a discussion with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aiming to support India’s “AI first future” by developing essential infrastructure, skills, and sovereign capabilities.
