A British Sikh man, Capt. Jay Singh-Sohal, has been honored with an OBE by the Princess Royal for establishing the UK’s first WWI Sikh Memorial. This memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum commemorates the sacrifices of Sikh soldiers who served Great Britain.
