Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Israel is preparing to enter the second, more difficult phase of the US-sponsored Gaza ceasefire plan soon. This phase aims to disarm and demilitarize Hamas, following the initial phase focused on captive and body exchanges. Netanyahu also plans to meet with US President Donald Trump this month to discuss regional peace opportunities.
