A matricide suspect, Animesh Jha, who fled to Nepal five years ago on pandemic-era bail, has been apprehended at the Indo-Nepal border. Jha, a software engineer, allegedly murdered his mother in 2017 during a drug-fueled argument over finances. He was tracked down through electronic surveillance and lured back to India.
