A Bengaluru techie died by suicide, accusing a couple and Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) officials of abetting his extreme act through harassment and extortion. The deceased’s mother filed a complaint against Shashi and Usha Nambiar for demanding Rs 20 lakh and allegedly encouraging officials to harass her son. The couple has been remanded in judicial custody.
