The jersey was unveiled by former India captain Rohit Sharma who is also the brand ambassador of the tournament, and member of the Indian T20 side Tilak Varma. The upcoming T20 World Cup will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka and is set to begin on February 7, with the final scheduled for March 8. Suryakumar Yadav and his team will kick off their campaign against the USA on February 7 in Mumbai.
