The Bombay high court has halted the announcement of first-phase municipal poll results, scheduled for December 3rd. Justices Anil Kilor and Rajnish Vyas ruled that releasing these outcomes prematurely could unfairly influence the second phase of voting on December 20th. The court mandated that all results be declared together on December 21st, ensuring electoral fairness and transparency.
