Air India has grounded an aircraft and launched an investigation after it operated eight commercial flights with an expired Airworthiness Review Certificate. The lapse occurred during the Vistara-Air India merger transition, with the 70th aircraft’s renewal delayed due to an engine change. Personnel involved have been de-rostered pending the outcome of the probe.
