‘Want to live, but what can I do?’: UP BLO dies by suicide, another of heart attack amid ‘SIR stress’

Two Booth Level Officers (BLOs) in Uttar Pradesh have died while working on electoral roll revisions, one by suicide and another from a heart attack. These incidents bring the total BLO deaths during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise to at least seven, raising concerns about workload and pressure.
