An Afghan national, formerly with US military and CIA-backed units, was arrested for a daylight shooting in Washington D.C. The incident led the Trump administration to pause asylum decisions and suspend visas for Afghan nationals. The suspect allegedly served in a “Zero Unit” known for high-risk missions.
