Turkey’s Bayraktar Kızılelma, an uncrewed fighter jet, has achieved a historic milestone by successfully shooting down a jet-powered aircraft using a beyond-visual-range missile during trials. This marks the first time an unmanned aerial vehicle has demonstrated such air-to-air combat capability, utilizing domestically developed radar and missile technology. The advanced UAV also conducted joint flights with F-16s.
