Cyclonic storm Ditwah, moving slowly, brought rain to south Tamil Nadu and is expected to cause intense showers in northern areas, including Chennai, this weekend. The storm, which caused over 80 deaths in Sri Lanka, is moving parallel to the TN coast, with red and orange alerts issued for heavy rainfall in several districts of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
