The West Bengal School Service Commission has republished a “comprehensive” list of 1,806 tainted candidates today from the 2016 SLST, after the Calcutta High Court’s order. But while names, parents’ names, roll numbers and subjects are out, the schools they taught in remain hidden. The op-ed tracks nine years of rot in Bengal’s teacher recruitment scam, from SLST to Supreme Court.
