A Bangladesh court has handed former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina a 21-year prison sentence in three corruption cases concerning land allocations. This verdict follows a separate death sentence for her role in last year’s protests. Her son and daughter also received prison terms. Hasina, in exile in New Delhi, denies the charges, calling them politically motivated.
