A fancy registration number, HR 88B 8888, has fetched a record-breaking bid of Rs 1.17 crore in Haryana, surpassing all previous VIP number auctions nationwide. The number, from the Badhra subdivision, attracted 45 bidders after a reserve price of Rs 50,000. The highest bidder, reportedly a Hisar resident named Sudhir, has a set time to complete the payment.
