An Afghan national, identified as Rahmanullah Lakanwal, is accused of critically injuring two National Guard members near the White House. The suspect, who entered the U.S. in 2021, allegedly fired a handgun at the soldiers during a patrol. The FBI is investigating the incident as a possible act of terrorism.
