Ahmedabad is poised to host the 2030 Commonwealth Games, with a formal announcement to be made on Wednesday. India’s bid gained momentum following the Executive Board’s approval last month. It will be the first time the Commonwealth Games will be held in India since New Delhi’s hosting in 2010.
