A powerful 5.5-magnitude earthquake rocked central Bangladesh, claiming at least six lives and injuring many in Dhaka as buildings swayed and structures collapsed. The tremors were widely felt across the country and in neighbouring Indian regions, including Kolkata. Authorities are assessing damage and monitoring aftershocks in the densely populated capital.
