AI photo-verification: Google feature lets users confirm generated images; how it works

Google’s Gemini app now allows users to instantly verify if an image was created or edited by Google AI using SynthID watermarking. This feature, initially for images, will soon extend to video and audio, and integrate with industry-wide C2PA standards for broader AI content authentication.
